The YouTube prayer channel started during Covid that’s causing a stir at the moment.
On March 4, 2020, YouTube removed the channel. “This was an inadvertent mistake,” YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki tweeted, according to The Hill. “There was no malicious intent to hurt anyone, and we apologize for any pain this caused.”
Wojcicki added: “I’ve asked our team to take a close look at the ways we can improve the experience for others and make it right for the channel. We can’t go back.”
The issue raised by the Channel was the lack of videos. It had around 6,000 subscribers.
The removal was controversial because of the channel’s use of humor and religious content.
However, a YouTube spokesperson said it wasn’t the result of a specific concern and that “this was an unintentional mistake. There was no malicious intent to hurt anyone, and we apologize for any pain this caused.”

While it didn’t reach the channel’s goal of 6,000 subscribers, it has been viewed nearly 2.5 million times according to YouTube’s metrics.
