Naomi and Ashley are getting married again—this time in California.

The Washington Free Beacon reports:

“WILLIAMSBURG, Virginia (AP) — The bride, Ashley Biden, was born and raised in Washington, D.C. Her parents have served in the Virginia House of Delegates and the U.S. Senate. The bride’s grandfather is former U.S. Ambassador Thomas R. Pickering.

The groom, Naomi Biden, was born and raised in Williamsburg, Virginia. Her parents are Robert and Carol Biden. Carolyn Kennedy was a top advisor to President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton.

“I’m going to be a very public witness to the beginning of a relationship between women,” Ashley Biden said about her upcoming nuptials.

The White House has not yet announced any other events related to the wedding.

Naomi and her sister, Ashley Biden, were also part of another unusual family event, the death of a grandmother. The story of that death was widely publicized:

Naomi and her sister, Ashley Biden, were in the audience at the funeral of their mother, the late Barbara McCain.

Their father, Robert B. Biden Jr., attended the funeral alongside a close friend. He was also the chairman of the McCain family foundation, according to the Washington, D
